Stuck On Stupid Syndrome Is Syndrome

Posted by wordforit on April 10, 2008

It’s an enigma, indeed, when those who put their lives on the line, figuratively and literally, are analyzed and persecuted to no end, while the crazies roam around, seeking sympathy and victim status.

When third graders in Waycross, Ga. plot to kill a teacher, it’s past time to rethink “consequences”.

Our Culture seems to be stuck on stupid and backwards thinking these days! We see many of our top leaders, politicians and management confused about right and wrong, victim and perpetrator, bad guy from good guy. This “stuck on stupid” syndrome acts like a fast growing brain tumor, reflecting symptoms in runaway courts, political agendas that are mostly hidden and un American, and endless empathy for sick, illegal and dangerous people!

I thought I would lose my mind when I recently read in the Washington Post about the 12-year-old boy who was playing a computer game after his homework, then heard the blood curdling screams of his Mom. He ran to help her and saw one of the residents of the boarding house strangling his her on the floor. He yelled over and over, “Stop! Stop! Stop! But the attacker kept strangling his Mom, so he did what any loving child or adult would do, he grabbed what he could which was a kitchen knife and killed the psycho. This is the part that shows mental illness and “stuck on stupid” syndrome. The authorities are actually considering filing charges against the boy!!! What was the desperate boy supposed to do, plan a funeral for his Mom? Make coffee for the killer? Kill himself with the knife? How many types of psychotic are these authorities? I say the boy is a hero and his Mom is alive.

Another recent sign of “stuck on stupid” syndrome comes out of California where a librarian was fired because she dared to report a patron looking at child pornography in the library. Once again we see backwards and stupid thinking. The supervisor was endlessly concerned about the privacy rights of the dangerous pervert, not the law or protection of the kids coming in and out of the same library. The truth of that whole nightmare is that the idiot supervisor should have been the one fired along with the Library Administrator for having child pornography in the library in the first place. It is NEVER acceptable to have child pornography anywhere, especially in a public library. Frankly I could care less about the feelings of sex predators who want to hurt and rape our kids. I say send them all to an Island surrounded by endless coral reefs and sharks. You know what they say. Swimming is good for you. Dive in.

More “stuck on stupid” syndrome was seen in 2003 with Lt. Col Allen B. West who you may recall in Iraq scared a terrorist into telling him where the snipers were hiding so his men wouldn’t be picked off. The terrorist wasn’t killed or tortured, but faked out with a threat. He ended up talking and Allen saved his men. Did he get promoted to General, as he should have? No, he got hammered by the politically correct, “stuck on stupid” military high ups who tried to swipe his career, freedom and retirement pay. After the endless national news and horror for he and his family, he was forcibly retired from his beloved military. By the way, to tell you what kind of man Allen is, he didn’t crawl away and become a bitter victim. He went to Afghanistan as a civilian to train and equip the troops over there the last several years and now he is running for congress in Florida. This is the kind of leader, character and visionary our country needs! Go Allen!

Finally, the final example of “stuck on stupid” syndrome for now lies in the unfolding horror of Agent Ramos and Compeon rotting in prison for 11 and 12 years for doing their jobs wonderfully well. I have covered the details of this case from hell for the last few years. We saw our President bragging about 29 pardons he gave over Christmas and recently 15 more, none of which were these fine agents! We saw Prosecutor Sutton protecting the lying illegal alien drug pusher, Davila and manipulating the evidence and what the jury even saw. Finally an appeal was allowed and the real facts were revealed in this case. Now the nation is awaiting the decision of an appeals judge. Pray for justice in this!

We must as a nation remind ourselves what truth and lies look like, what evil and good looks like and what victim and criminal looks like! Empathy and “rights” are nice when offered first and foremost to our people, our military and our citizens. There is a point where “stuck on stupid” syndrome doesn’t cut it anymore. We MUST take back our courts and demand common sense Judges. We MUST take back congress and demand they get clear about good and evil and right and wrong. We must not allow persecution against parents and home schoolers, border patrol doing their jobs, military being brave in service, those trying to protect our children from predators and those fighting fearlessly against Islamic Radicals. We can save our country people. It is up to us.

Index of Antidepressant Induced Suicide and Violence

Posted by wordforit on April 9, 2008

Who knew there were so many prescription drug related crimes? Not long ago, I posted “Medicated Child/Silent Insanity“, with extensive information and links, in an effort to alert others about the exorbitant use of psychiatric medications, especially in the United States, leading at an 80% worldwide consumption.

I certainly do not want to offfend others, or seem unsympathetic but we really need to get a handle on ourselves! I am not speaking solely from what I have learned in the years of studying this phenomenon from varied sources. My concern is borne of experience, and one reason why I am so certain that God can and will help those who trust Him.

                             **********************

Exceprt from SSRI Stories home page:

“This website is a collection of 2200+ news stories with the full media article available, mainly criminal in nature, that have appeared in the media (newspapers, TV, scientific journals)  or that were part of FDA testimony in either 1991, 2004 or 2006, in which antidepressants are mentioned.

Antidepressants have been recognized as potential inducers of mania and psychosis since their introduction in the 1950s. Klein and Fink1 described psychosis as an adverse effect of the older tricyclic antidepressant imipramine. Since the introduction of Prozac in December, 1987, there has been a massive increase in the number of people taking antidepressants. Preda and Bowers2 reported that over 200,000 people a year enter a hospital with antidepressant-associated mania and/or psychosis. The subsequent harm from this prescribing can be seen in these 2200+ stories.

This web site focuses on the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs), of which Prozac was the first. Other SSRIs are Zoloft, Paxil  (Seroxat), Celexa, Sarafem (Prozac in a pink pill), Lexapro, and Luvox.  Other newer antidepressants included in this list are Remeron, Anafranil and the SNRIs Effexor, Serzone and Cymbalta as well as the dopamine reuptake inhibitor antidepressant Wellbutrin (also marketed as Zyban).

. . . There is a grave concern among advocates that adverse reactions are greatly underestimated by the public, the medical profession and the regulatory authorities. Each of these stories in our list can be interpreted as an adverse reaction and in most cases we have highlighted the portion of the article that refers to evidence of bizarre behavioral change consistent with drug reaction. In some stories causation is acknowledged and the juxtaposition of these stories with those where it goes unrecognized as well as the repetition of themes and circumstances is chilling. If indeed medications played a significant role in all these tragedies, then this is a public health problem of epidemic proportions on a global scale.”

U.S. Based Revolution Muslim Website Spreading Messages of Hate

Posted by wordforit on March 28, 2008

FoxNews

NEW YORK, N.Y. –

On any given day, log on to RevolutionMuslim.com and a host of startling images appear:

– The Statue of Liberty, with an ax blade cutting through her side;

– Video mocking the beheading of American journalist Daniel Pearl, entitled “Daniel Pearl I am Happy Your Dead :) “;

– Video of a puppet show lampooning U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq;

– The latest speech from Sheikh Abdullah Faisal, an extremist Muslim cleric convicted in the UK and later deported for soliciting the murder of non-Muslims.

Even more surprising is that RevolutionMuslim.com isn’t being maintained in some remote safe house in Pakistan. Instead, Yousef al-Khattab, the Web site creator, runs it from his home in the New York City Borough of Queens.

And, because al-Khattab enjoys the First Amendment right to freedom of speech, all the authorities can do is watch.

Formerly known as Joseph Cohen, al-Khattab is an American-born Jew who converted to Islam after attending an Orthodox Rabbinical school, which he later described as a “racist cult.”

The 39-year-old New York taxi driver launched RevolutionMuslim.com with the mission of “preserving Islamic culture,” “calling people to the oneness of God” and asking them to “support the beloved Sheik Abdullah Faisal, who’s preaching the religion of Islam and serving as a spiritual guide.”

In 2003 Faisal was convicted in the U.K. for spreading messages of racial hatred and urging his followers to kill Jews, Hindus and Westerners. In sermon recordings played at his trial, Faisal called on young, impressionable Muslims to use chemical weapons to “exterminate unbelievers” and “cut the throat of the Kaffars [nonbelievers] with [a] machete.”

Authorities believe Faisal’s sermons have influenced 2005 London transport bomber Germaine Lindsay and “shoe bomber” Richard Reid, who attended mosques where Faisal preached.

At times, al-Khattab’s postings are farcical, such as a picture of him holding the book “Nuclear Jihad” with a wry smile on his face. Other messages call for radical Muslim rule worldwide.

Al-Khattab claims the Sept. 11 terror attacks were an “inside job,” and he blames U.S. foreign policy for spawning the terrorism that carried out the attacks.

He calls Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and beheaded in 2002 by Islamic extremists in Pakistan, “a convicted spy.”

“I could care less about Daniel Pearl,” al-Khattab said in an interview with FOXNews.com. “I’m happy to see that he’s gone.”

Click here to view RevolutionMuslim.com.

The content changes constantly. One reason is that the fast flow of information allows messages to spread through cyberspace quickly. Another, terrorism analysts say, is to make it difficult for law enforcement to monitor the site.

Despite his radical anti-Western views, al-Khattab says he does not support terrorism of any kind.

Yet, RevolutionMuslim.com claims to be the official site of “North American representatives” for Sheikh Faisal, and it appears dedicated to spreading his radical doctrine.

He says Faisal “never said to kill innocent people” and was unjustly imprisoned. He says the real terror organizations are the U.S. Army, the CIA, and the FBI – and the National Coast Guard, “to a lesser extent.”

According to RevolutionMuslim, Faisal – who was deported to his native Jamaica in 2007 – is now receiving donations solicited on the site, including money for a new laptop and DVD burner to spread his message.

It’s not illegal to post these messages or collect money for Faisal, but it would be if Faisal were designated a terrorist by the U.S. government. He currently is not listed on any government terror list; a Department of Justice spokesman could not confirm or deny if Faisal is being investigated for any terror related activity.

RevolutionMuslim may look amateurish when compared with other extremist Web sites, but it is no less of a threat, says Mia Bloom, political science professor at the University of Georgia’s School of Public and International Affairs.

“It may lead people who become radicalized by it to turn to other, more dangerous Web sites,” such as those run by terrorist organizations, she said.

Bloom characterized al-Khattab’s message as “narrow” and “misinformed” and said he is attempting to “proselytize or radicalize people who share some of these same ideas.”

“[He] has obviously been duped or is duping others because that’s not what Islam preaches,” she said.

On his site al-Khattab appears to condemn the very democracy that guarantees him the freedom to express himself – a freedom he cites in a disclaimer on his homepage:

“We hereby declare and make absolute public declaration that revolutionmuslim.com operates under the first amendment right to freedom of religion and expression and that in no way, shape, or form do we call for war against the U.S. government or adhere to the enemies of the United States elsewhere.”

Under the law FBI spokesman Richard Kolko said it is difficult to bring criminal charges against the operators of Web sites like RevolutionMuslim.com unless specific threats are made against an individual or individuals.

Kolko while not speaking directly about RevolutionMuslim said radical sites like these are not often prosecuted.

“It’s usually a First Amendment right if they don’t cross the threshold of making any threats,” said Kolko. “There’s nothing we should or could do.”

“Until the rhetoric reaches the point in which it’s no longer protected speech under the first amendment, it’s hard to stop it,” said security expert, Harvey Kushner.
