Word For It. . .

2Chronicles7:14-“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

‘Twas the Month Before Christmas…

‘Twas the month before Christmas

When all through our land,

Not a Christian was praying

Nor taking a stand

Why the Politically Correct Police had taken away

The reason for Christmas – no one could say

The children were told by their schools not to sing

About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things

It might hurt people’s feelings, the teachers would say

December 25th is just a “Holiday

Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit

Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!

CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod

Something was changing, something quite odd!

Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa

In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda

As Targets were hanging their trees upside down

At Lowe’s the word Christmas – was no where to be found

At K-Mart and Staples and Penny’s and Sears

You won’t hear the word Christmas; it won’t touch your ears

Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty

Are words that were used to intimidate me.

Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen

On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!

At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter

To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter

And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith

Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace

The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded

The reason for the season, stopped before it started.

So as you celebrate “Winter Break” under your “Dream Tree”

Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.

Choose your words carefully, choose what you say

Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS, not Happy Holiday!

Amen…earthly politics, religious politics..these things I observe with the understanding that I will always be incorrect…I’ll admit that the ways of man’s kingdom seem very alien to me…interesting only in how they differ from the kingdom of God. The supposedly lower kingdoms, animal, plant, mineral etc. operate much smoother and with more consistant intelligence. It occurs to me that folks fear what they do not understand…How I wish they could know Jesus….His perfect love casts out all fear…in it’s place He leaves reverential AWE!! May we all become more heavenly correct in this season of celebration.

Yes, for all to study and meditate on the nature and holiness of Jesus is my prayer, as well. It is indeed an awesome freedom to know Him as Savior and King, especially in such an upside-down world!
Thank you for stopping by and sharing such an uplifting comment.
Merry Christmas and God’s Blessings on You and Yours.
    In His Love.

Greetings. They are going “full tilt” in their efforts to erase any rememberance of Jesus from the land. Yet we know that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. May we be a light in these days and bid all to come to Jesus while there’s still time. Great post which portrays the climate in our nation these days.

Have a blessed Christmas and new year.

‘Tilt’ is a very good word there, Bro!! Everything is ’tilted’, indeed! Oh, that all would see the LOVE available in Jesus Christ. It’s not about being arrogantly right, it’s about being rescued!
God Keep You and Yours and the Merriest of Christmases to You, timbob. You are in my prayers, as always!
