Word For It. . .

Liberty Counsel

Last year, Liberty Counsel handled an unprecedented number of cases of anti-Christian hostility during Christmas (more than 200 in all).

Cases like:

Schoolchildren in Wisconsin and New Jersey told they can’t sing “Silent Night, Holy Night” and “Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem” unless Christian references are removed!

The city of Boston, Massachusetts attempting to rename its traditional Christmas Tree a “Holiday Tree”…

Boise, Idaho, bus drivers ordered not to display “Merry Christmas on city buses to avoid a lawsuit.

The list of Liberty Counsel cases goes on and on.

+ +One missing ingredient…

While we had tremendous success defending Christmas, the LA Times even said we led the fight to Help Save Christmas, we were missing one vital ingredient — an intangible that is critical in winning the battle to HELP SAVE CHRISTMAS…

You!

We needed to be able to mobilize a grassroots army to take action whenever and wherever hostile attacks took place — concerned citizens who will take a stand to “Help Save Christmas” from the attacks of the ACLU and others.

Will you stand with citizens across the nation by signing our petition and becoming part of our growing army to “Help Save Christmas”?

Thanks in advance for taking action with us!

Greetings again. These attacks seem to intensify every year, thereby pointing to the lateness of the hour. Last week, I heard of one that really caught me off guard. CNN reported that several hotel chains are removing the traditional Gideons bibles and replacing them with “intimacy kits.”

Every idle word and every intent of the heart will be manifest. Thanks for the insights.

    Have a most blessed weekend.

Things we wouldn’t think of as “offensive” removed to accomodate those who do not believe Jesus will return. I read one of the articles stating that it was more in the metro areas and by owners who were of different faiths. Frankly, I find “intimacy kits” more offensive and if someone is out-of-town for “business”, what does “intimacy” have to do with biz? (A little afraid to hear the answer…) As one commenter said, a lot of people have been alone and miserable and found peace in salvation through the Gideon Bibles.

Some of the stories in the link to Liberty Counsel are also circumstances we take for granted to always be there.

Matthew 12:35-37 does indeed warn that idle words will be accounted for. http://www.christnotes.org/bible.php?q=Matthew+12%3A35-37&ver=kjv

God’s Blessings on You and Yours, timbob, for “fighting the good fight”. (2Timothy 4:7)
