Welcome, Angie! Yes, as one looks deeper, the stories about those with so-called ‘power’ are disturbing and it makes one shudder. And pray more earnestly, I hope. Many false prophets, to be sure!
Isn’t it strange that this has not been in print newspapers? Mitt Romney was reported to have chanted “Who let the dogs out” but it would be more accurate for people to ask “Who let the wolves out”!! Dogs, wolves, technically the same and now that I think about it, maybe just another way of “letting us know”!
I thought I added you to my blogroll but when it gets late, I am not so sharp ;-). Will check to be sure so that we can keep each other updated on this and other important news one can only seem to find online and in the blogosphere/iverse! :-)

Race and gender have polluted that part of the process and many have lost their balance. Where is the discernment?

WorldNetDaily has an article by Aaron Klein, who is communicating w/ terrorists (See my post: “Schmoozing with Terrorists”), about their responses to the election. Pretty embarrassing and disturbing to think of the world’s view of the USA. It’s a common joke internationally about Americans being stupid. I try to defend us, but the more I learn, the more I see people being sucked into a vacuum. . .internationally. We are being distracted from what’s important. . .

This church “came to light” over the issue of whether Obama is a Muslim. Being Muslim is one thing but, as I linked in my part of the above post, the church featuring Farrakhan in a magazine on their site should be immensely upsetting, if not, at least enlightening enough to cause action.

A point I consider more important is:

Whether Obama is an active member or follows their creed, in running for public office (POTUS–President of the United States, no less), a candidate should distance (rather, remove) themselves from anything that draws this much ire, divisiveness and perceived discriminatory potential.

However, according to what I have read (and read and read and read), he is a regular attendee and in the “newsmax” article linked in the post– http://archive.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2007/8/8/194812.shtml –

In fairness, a NYT review of Obama’s book says the term “Audacity of Hope” comes from one of his speeches but that does not discount that it was inspired by Wright. Regardless, I am still shocked that this has not been questioned, among other matters.

Beside the fact of his affiliation with such, he speaks and says what people want to hear but there’s no substance to the rhetoric and he changes his stand to suit agendas. That’s another matter and this is long enough…

Obama should be laughed and ridiculed out of politics all together and go wherever it is that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are stirring up trouble.

I cannot understand why this has not been made in to the circus lesser actions of other public figures has created.
