2Chronicles7:14-"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Note: This well-known verse states God's requirements for blessing; humility, prayer, devotion, and repentance. Ryrie Study Bible, KJV

"I wonder how this man is still a candidate."

With him as president, America would be weakened domestically and internationally, that's why.

And Democrats wonder why we're always questioning their patriotism.

Word reply~ You know, they (the Dems) have boxed themselves in with this man so badly out of stupidity and worshipping the wrong things, that it makes me wonder at a giant conspiracy being deliberately brought about simply thru "thinking they're wise in their foolishness"! Still thinking about all that money---a friend of mine was working until recently at a call bank for an international bank and said she handled more overseas client inquiries than US. One day, a guy from a MidEast country was upset b/c he couldn't make a transaction. As she looked, she realized he didn't have a social security # so she could not access his account. How did he open an acct. w/o a #? All we can do is sit back and watch? Sickening.

I have not been hit by Obama supporters. The couple who have posted on my blog have been polite, but no one reads me. I have seen some bad instances, though. On Facebook a person or a collective of people named Ed Powell posts 100s of comments on Hillary's facebook page saying terrible things. It makes a person want to avoid the page or not post. On comments for newspaper articles I will see the occasional Go Hillary or Hillary 08 and then hundreds of nasty comments about her that also tout Obama. It's all anonymous so they feel free. The worst, thing, though, is basically being called an idiot or the like when you post on an Obama blog something that is polite and in response to the issue. I never leave nasty comments, or I don't intend to, but these bloggers have made it really clear I am not wanted. It's their choice, but why blog or have a comment section if you don't want interaction?

Wordforit Reply~
I was shocked that the poor guy in the first article had his tires slashed for trying to remain neutral. Makes me wonder what else we don't know.
I still occassionally get called idiot, bigot, moron but it was the threat to annihilate all Christians along with a couple of other filthy, hateful comments that I just happened to catch late one night that caused me to moderate comments.
You said: "It makes a person want to avoid the page or not post." Exactly. There are blogs I like to visit but won't comment b/c too many don't know the difference in discuss/debate and argue/insult. Like you say, I don't leave nasty comments and try to be careful with opinion/facts on someone else's blog but, good grief, the times I've seen some poor soul be called 'stupid' when they weren't out-of-the-way.
One of the "older blogers" (not age, blogging time) had a post a while back about how much viciousness has become popular, rather than just visiting and seeing what others share, then contributing if we have something to add. I have been to a few forums where that seems to be the climate and wonder if that's where some of it has been conditioned?

Thanks for visiting and commenting so now I can read what you have up! :-)
